We have used VitaMix machines in our home kitchens for almost 30 years. They do a good job of blending. The bearing in each of the vases has failed after about 10 years of almost daily use, so that is why we have bought new containers. This is the third classic container that we have had. It has a more comfortable handle than the previous ones. We only wish the container could be designed and made so as to separate the upper and lower sections for easier cleaning.

The initial 64-ounce container I had fit under my cupboard and I could store it on the countertop. The replacement I bought is tall and does not fit under my cupboard. The lid is stored separately. Disappointed. I don't use it everyday as I used to for my morning smoothie, I use a hand blender instead.
