The vita mix container works and holds up really well. I’m really happy it came with a damper. The lid you have to really push on to secure it on and this container doesn’t seem as high quality as the older original container that we had.

I feel this is better than the new shorter versions at blending. It really blends smooth. I bought the stainless container and love it too, but something about the older taller design seems to go to work just a little better. If you have the space for the extra height, I’d recommend this, but the others are amazing too.

Why do these need to be so expensive when chinese ones are a fraction of the price, would like to buy Vitamix again but I can buy the whole blender cheaper than a picture container

Blades keep leaking oil

I love my Vitamix and how it pulverizes the fruits and vegetables and use it every day for smoothies and soups. However, I keep having to keep getting replacement blades and after a very short time they start leaking oil again. I don’t know why the quality of the blades have gone downhill.

I’ve owned and used a vitamin daily for 20 years. The product lasted 20 years before the bearing on the container went bad. I bought a new container which was very expensive but well worth the money if it last another 20 years!
