It is so worth the money! I tried to replace with a cheaper version …2 times! - don’t waste your time - get the original. Just hand wash - it’s the dishwasher that rusted out a little ring on the outside bottom

Ten years for the bearing to wear out with moderate use. Actually was able to get bearings and rebuild the old one but caught a good sale so I went ahead and bought a new one. You can't go wrong with a vitamix.

I have had my Vitamix TurboBlend 4500 for many years and we use it daily. When I wore out my 2nd container and needed to buy a 3rd, I was so pleased to find the Classic 64-ounce Container was still available. It works beautifully with my old TurboBlend.
