Rust inside my blender container

Hi there! That type of damage looks consistent with dishwashing and using either a heat dry cycle or a high temperature scrub cycle. While the majority of Vitamix containers are dishwasher safe, this is not the recommended cleaning method. The best method is to use warm water, a drop of dish soap, and then run it on your machine, rinse and dry. Replacement after 17 years! Our Vitamix is going strong but our pitcher had a small crack at the bottom. Would cause a small leak when used. We have had this for 17 years and it is used several times a day!
