The look of this machine is sleek and modern. The icons are a bit small for older eyes, so I have to look at the manual to see what they are for. I don't use all of the options that it shows, but I do use the smoothie, peanut butter, cleaning, and a couple of others regularly. I am finding that I don't really care for the auto programmed times so much. I got to know my other Vita Mix and how to use it down to a science. I do like that the tamper can sit at the side of the machine. That makes it easy to get to for making blended items. I appreciate having the extended warranty. I take excellent care of all of my appliances and this one is no exception. I figure that is another reason they last so long. I have passed down to my daughter 2 of my former Vitamix's. They are wonderful machines!

I have been wanting one for years. My husband gave it at Christmas. I love how you can set and walk away on most things. It really grinds the food well, I get more greens this way. I totally recommend this product. So easy to clean and looks good on my counter.

To be honest I had my Ninja mixer for almost 20 years. Mixed somethings great others not so great. OR so I thought. I started getting into more DIY kitchen staples and quickly realized my Ninja was not made for everyday tasks. Could it be the age of it ...no I dont think so. I did a lot of research and settled on Vitamix. They had an amazing sale price so I jumped. IMMEDIATELY I noticed the huge difference. They truly are not even comparable. Speed function and the utmost importance TEXTURE. No longer are my mixes gritty, or tiny chunks they are smooth and velvety. .Anything I use alcohol in the mixture literally got hot as I was mixture. I cant believe I waited this long toget a Vitamix but I will definitely be a forever customer. I now look forward to getting the attachments and fully utilizing every feature. This truly is a QUALITY first machine. The warranty alone speaks volumes

I love my Vitamix. I’ve used it almost everyday for the last month. I make a smoothie most mornings and then use it to prep dinner some nights. I was hesitant at first because of the price, but this thing works so much better than the ninja blender I had been using for years. The blueberries and spinach in my smoothie blend right up.

Amazingly strong blender, with a plethora of settings to boot. Beautiful design, responsive touch buttons and knob. The self clean feature is a plus as well. No issues so far after six months of consistent use.

I had an older model that was still going strong but I moved that to a second location. I wish the new one A) had a bigger container like the older one, B) the container was made of glass and not plastic. Otherwise works the same and is excellent
