I had the original vitamix for more than 25 years. I used it a ton and loved it. I seen the new Ascent X5 and fell in love with all of the functions the faxt that i could also use it as a food processor. I love the built in timers so there is no guess work. While it is a little noisey, so are all blenders. For the original blender, that is still going strong and my son and his family are enjoying it as much as i did! Thank you Vitamix!

I purchased a Professional Series 300 blender from Vitamix 9 years ago. It is fabulous. However, I wanted a new and improved version. So after a little research, I purchased the Ascent X5. I am obsessed with this new blender!! I make breakfast smoothies every day. This blender has an automatic setting, and it is fabulous!! It makes the perfect smoothie!
Pros: Programability, Speed of Service, Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Product features, Power
It is a good blender but honestly didnt see much difference between an expensive blender like this one and Ninja with third of the price.
Pros: Durability, Power

I have use my X5 for a year now. I must stay I have up grade my last rating from a 3 star to a 4. its not because of the preformance The issue is still with dail. Outside of that we make our own Nut butter, Non dairy milk, soups, and smoothies. The power of the X-5 is what you need to handle these hard task.
This blender has helped us consume a lot more vegetables thank to it enabling us to make more smoothies with secret veges mixed in, as well as make delicious sauces to enhance the vegetables we already ate regularly. I could not be happier with Vitamix!
