Once you get past the price, this is the blender to get. I stopped drinking smoothies because fresh fruit is hard to get out here so I use frozen mostly, and other blenders just couldn't handle it.
On the advice of a friend, bought this one. Almost choked on the price, but it works and nothing I've had before did so, you get what you pay for!

Absolutely THE Best!

I bought my Vitamix 5200 in 1999. Yes I've had this blender for 27 years and have used it almost every day. That's why I was heartbroken when it died last month. (Burning and smoke from the base). It was worth every penny. Thinking I'd save some money, I bought another brand to replace it and it's horrible. Once you've had a Vitamix, there's no going back. So I'm trying to save up to buy another.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vitamix VX1 is a powerful, heavy duty appliance that truly delivers. I’ve been using it regularly since I got it in the mail to make protein shakes, and it blends everything effortless and smoothly. It’s extremely easy to use and durable! My only small complaint is that I wish the container was made out of glass instead of plastic, but that doesn’t take away from how amazing overall this blender is! It’s a high quality product that performs extremely well! Worth every penny!

Upon first use it’s clear this is user friendly, easy to use and effective. This quickly and smoothly blended frozen fruits and vegetables to make a perfect smoothie. Cleaning is a breeze as well, as you’re able to place it in the dishwasher. I can’t wait to use this for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow what an upgrade this product is from my last blender. Cuts through frozen vegetables with ease and makes delicious smoothies! Since getting this I have been having smoothies daily.
I love the pulse option to really help break up tougher pieces. Makes it easy to set and walk away.
Plan to use this and see how it works for multiple different things such as soup making.
