NOT AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL? i had my original be=lendtec for around 12 years and loved it - recently it started to smell burning, so i knew it was dying and ordered a new one. New one looked pretty good, however it is making some really weird noises from the get go - makling me nervous. The original came with a 7 year warranty, this one only 2

This is my second blendtec, hope it last as long as first one. I use 3 to 4 days weekly for smoothies. New one seems to be a little quiter than older one. Great blender!

Blends Great but Lid won’t stay on

I like this blender. My only complaint is the lid does not stay locked on. The vibration of the blender starts to raise the top. I have to keep my hand on it. Other than that I like the blender.
