A significant upgrade from the original, with minimal to no increase in cost. The newest version is rechargeable, variable speed, and has a much better-designed stand. The previous version's stand was poorly designed, but the new models are much improved.

For many years I used a hand held frother sold under many names. I was not particularly unhappy with the product, but something made me look for more. After I stumbled on Typhur as a brand I purchased an instant thermometer. The quality of the thermometer made me investigate other products sold by the company. I ended up buying an InstaWhisk. I found it to be exceptional in quality and very satisfying to use. The shape is ergonomic, comfortable and the balance is unparalleled. It has zero vibration. The soft start coupled with the variable speed makes for great operating control. I ended up buying a second one. Overall, I am very impressed!

Great whisk with one exception. The stand could use some work. The side engagement is awkward and often results in tipping the stand over when placing the whisk back on it. Aside from that, I like the ergonomics and the power.
