The printer is fine just the software let's it down.
Came with inks worked fine for a while then didn't recognise the colour inks.
Replace inks from HP worked ok now.

Seems to be a decent buy, but took hours to set up and updates seem to come on a regular basis. Response from th HP app is very very poor, but it does eventually respond

Good price printer but quite a palaver to set up

Good price printer but quite a palaver to set up. The printer arrived quickly and the price was competitive. But the setup procedure was long winded. The cartridges sent with the printer did not work properly and the colour one caused a cartridge error after each print. Had to constantly reboot the printer to get each print. Had to call online support to expedite ePrint cartridges being sent so that I could print reliably (they did arrive quite quicky by courier). Should be able to print reliably straight from the box. I am IT Profient, an IT novice would had real problems setting it up My previous HP printer was much easier to set up, just had to plug into the mains and USB on my PC, and it worked straight away. WiFi set up is much more complicated and prone to failure
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
