Much better phone for a 92 year old with no tech savvy. Tried Cingular Flip first, but she couldn't hear good on it. It was also much more confusing for her to learn. Minimal configuration options.

Numbers stick, causing a long tone which creates a big problem when trying to enter a response or account number. Also after a call is received the phone seizes & has to be rebooted. I was forced to replace my 3g with this 5g phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a sturdy, hefty, reliable flip phone that you & your parent will trust. The keys respond properly. Yes it costs more, but it works which is why you got them a phone in the first place. Only complaint- I couldn't add my special ringtone.
