[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The magnets on the magnetic ring stand are not as strong as hoped for. The magsafe magnet that attaches to the phone comes off constantly when unfolding the rings for use. As far as the magnet used to attach to other metal surfaces, upon attachment the phone will rotate, or slide down instead of holding firm. Great concept, poor execution.

Monarch Dual Magnetic Ring Stand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stand is thicker than the olde version. It feels more substantial, with the wider part of the stand reversed to the outside. This allows the stand to be more stable, especially with portrait mode. The magnet isn't as strong, but strong enough still. The base has additional metal reinforcement for more rigidity and it doesn't slip as much as the other model (with applied pressure).

Could be a much better

It has failed and doesn't work for holding the phone with your finger through the loop! Very uncomfortable! The standard ring stand is better! Waste of money as far as I am concerned! I want my money back!
