The dehumidifier is making life easier for my wife who suffers from osteo arthritis. The lower humidity in the house makes her pain less. It also makes the atmosphere in the house more comfortable for me. I have been able to raise the temperature setting on the central air conditioning which means that it runs less and it feels cooler. The down side is the additional noise in the house. I haven't seen a power bill yet so don't know the impact on our energy use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It, 80pt model, has nice features and is quiet. Hope I get 4 or 5 yrs trouble free service. Should have bought model with larger bucket to reduce trips to empty.
