I picked up two of these after fighting a losing battle with dampness, and they've completely turned things around. Each one pulls an impressive amount of water out of the air — the 150-pint capacity is no joke, and with a space this size (rated up to 7,000 sq ft) one unit easily handles a big open area.
The built-in pump is the feature that sold me. Instead of emptying the tank constantly, I ran the hose to drain upward and now I basically set it and forget it. When I do let it fill, the 2.38-gallon tank means it isn't every couple of hours, and the auto shut-off keeps it from overflowing.
A few other things I appreciate: it's Energy Star rated, so I'm not dreading the electric bill running two of them; the 24-hour timer and three fan speeds let me dial it in for day or night; and it's quieter than I expected — I can leave it running without it taking over the room. The wheels and handle make it easy to move from one space to another, and the filter-clean reminder is a nice touch for upkeep.
Between the two units the difference in the air is night and day — no more musty smell, and everything feels drier and fresher. Would absolutely buy again.

Had an issue with unit not keeping humidity down to normal levels. After contacting Waykar, they asked me to do a test of the unit and provide them pictures of the results. It was determined there was an issue and they are sending out a replacement unit. This is exactly the service I was hoping to receive. I will definitely be a Waykar customer in the future.

I bought the machine two weeks ago I am glad I did that , because it work great 👍 and smooth. It is not too loud, very easy to use it. I don’t know about using the electric. Otherwise very easy to clean up the filter.

Had a 50 pint and wanted to upgrade to 80 pint. Does not seem to be able to get the humidity under 52%. Not that large of a basement.
