This dehumidifier is very quiet. You only hear the sound of a whisper quiet fan running. I have it located in my basement and it is sufficiently removing the moisture in the basement.
I do have one complaint with this unit and I hope it isn’t operator error. I set the target humidity level at 55%. The unit continues to operate until it reaches 50%. It then shuts off and doesn’t come on until the humidity level reaches 60%. I would prefer at +/- tolerance of around 2%; not 10%.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product in March. The dehumidifier worked perfectly and is quiet. Unfortunately, the pump failed in August. Waykar has stood by its warranty with no hassle and is quickly replacing the unit.

I've had the Waykar 120 pints dehumidifier for a .onth now and I am very satisfied. The unit keeps our large, damp basement dry and comfortable. The price was outstanding and buying directly from the manufacturer made selection and shipping very easy. I hope to get .any years use with this great product.

Smaller and Quieter

I purchased Waykar 80 Pint dehumidifier to replace a broken one, it is smaller and much quieter than the old one, it also uses about 1/2 the electricity.
While I did have some trouble with the dehumidifier Waykar promptly replied to my emails, after gathering the necessary information they promptly sent a replacement.

I bought this a month ago and it's decent. It does the job quite well. It does the job a little too well. The humidity sensor isn't very sensitive as such I can set it for 50% humidity and an hour later it's still running and the humidity is 39%. (We have 7 humidity gauges around the house and one in the same room as the dehumidifier to confirm.) So it's not super energy efficient in terms of operating to a set point. That's my one wish...a more accurate built-in humidity sensor. I usually turn it off manually to save energy.

i bought this dehumidifier about 3 weeks ago. It has been working great I have to empty it about every 14 hours because it pulls so much moisture out of the air. I was also impressed with the bucket, believe it or not taking it out and putting it back is a breeze other brands I have had the bucket was a nightmare to get out and back in place either it wouldn't pop back in or the sensor said there was no bucket!

Ready to use immediately with no extra setup required. Over the past four months, it has performed reliably in high-humidity conditions. It operates quietly and efficiently. During our vacation, it was especially helpful that it included a drain tube, and we returned without any problems.
