The Beast That Redefines TVs
on May 21, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung TV is something else! Right out of the gate, the antiglare tech is on another level—it barely reflects anything, which might feel a little weird at first since we're so used to seeing reflections. But trust me, once you get used to it, it's a game-changer for immersive viewing.
Pair it with a Samsung soundbar, and the audio is just incredible. The combination creates a full-on surround sound experience, making movies, video games, and music sound richer and more dynamic.
The black levels on this thing? Unreal. In a dark room, it’s like the TV disappears, leaving you with what feels like an endless screen. It makes movie nights feel extra cinematic.
If you're into gaming, you're in for a treat. Gameplay runs super smoothly, and the image and color quality are top-tier—everything looks vibrant and crisp.
The interface does the job, but it could be better. It’s not terrible, just not the best out there.
One thing that really stood out was the One Connect Box. It’s awesome for keeping cables out of sight since you can place it wherever you want. The downside? It feels kinda fragile, so you'll want to handle it with care.
Overall, this Samsung TV brings the wow factor with its amazing display, deep blacks, killer sound, and smooth gaming performance. A few things could be tweaked, but if you want an immersive experience, this one is definitely worth checking out.

Best TV as a PC monitor I've owned so far
on May 20, 2025
Posted by: MarkusM
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm exclusively using the S95F as a monitor for my PC, and it's definitely the best I've owned so far thanks to the 165 Hz mode and overall amazing OLED display.
I was a bit worried about the One Connect Box going in, since users had reported signal dropouts and other issues with past models, but I'm happy to say that it has been working almost flawlessly for me. There was some minor flicker after setting 165 Hz and enabling G-Sync for the first time, but that only lasted a minute and has not shown up in use anymore—and could also just be a firmware thing and not related to the box at all.
I was between this TV and the very comparable LG G5 and read some reviews and online posts about both TVs. I often heard reviewers talk negatively about the matte coating, as it's supposed to raise blacks when light hits the display and allegedly affects clarity in general. Granted I'm using the display in a darker room without any light shining on it directly, I have found ZERO difference between the matte coating and the various glossy displays I used before.
To be fair, had the 55" LG G5 been available at the time, I would've probably gone with that to avoid the perceived risk with the OCB, but after having the S95F on my desk for almost a month now I think the Samsung was the better choice for my use case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spent hours researching and decided to get the s95f, 65 inch. I tied it in with a Q series soundbar and the sound with Q symphony is wonderful. The picture is stunning can viewed from all angles. So far I couldn’t be happier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung QN55S95FAF delivers an incredible viewing experience, powered by the NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, which noticeably enhances image clarity and sharpness across both HD and 4K content. Motion Xcelerator 165Hz and AI Motion Enhancer Pro keep fast action ultra-smooth—great for sports and gaming. I’ve been especially impressed with the Auto HDR Remastering and Object Tracking Sound+ with Dolby Atmos, which make older content feel more immersive with dynamic visuals and surround-like audio. Features like Adaptive Sound Pro and Active Voice Amplifier Pro really help with dialogue clarity, and the new Tizen One UI makes everything feel faster and easier to navigate.

A Truly Stunning Viewing Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the Samsung 55” OLED 4K S95F Smart TV, and I can confidently say it’s one of the most impressive displays I’ve ever seen. From the moment I turned it on, the picture quality blew me away. The blacks are deep and inky, the colors are rich and vivid, and the overall clarity is stunning. Watching sports has never looked smoother thanks to the 144Hz refresh rate—it makes fast motion look natural and crisp, which has completely changed how I enjoy live games.
As a gamer, this TV exceeded all my expectations. I’ve been playing Call of Duty Warzone on my PlayStation 5, and the difference is unbelievable. The visuals are ultra-sharp with vibrant detail, and the OLED panel handles dark scenes with amazing contrast and precision. Fast-paced action looks fluid thanks to the TV’s high refresh rate and low input lag, which really gives me an edge during intense firefights. The gaming experience feels more immersive than ever, and the level of responsiveness is just perfect for competitive play.
The ultra-slim profile and nearly bezel-less design make it a sleek addition to my living room setup. It mounted easily on the wall, and the slim One Connect Box helps keep cords out of sight, giving it a clean, modern look. The built-in Tizen smart platform is responsive and intuitive, with all the major streaming apps ready to go out of the box. I’ve also been impressed by the Object Tracking Sound Lite technology—it creates a surprisingly immersive audio experience even without a soundbar.
Overall, this TV combines exceptional OLED visuals with premium features designed for entertainment lovers and gamers alike. I find myself rewatching favorite movies and playing games just to enjoy the picture all over again. If you’re looking for a TV that offers both cutting-edge tech and an amazing viewing experience, this is it.

I'm dating myself but miles better than the plasma
on May 9, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung OLED TV vs. Plasma: A Major Upgrade
Rating: 5/5
As someone who held onto my old plasma TV for years because of its deep blacks and rich picture, I was hesitant to switch. But after getting a Samsung OLED TV, I can confidently say—it’s not just better, it’s next-level.
First off, the picture quality is jaw-dropping. The OLED panel delivers true blacks that rival (and surpass) plasma, but with way more contrast, brightness, and clarity. Samsung's OLED combines self-lit pixels with Quantum Dot tech, so the colors are incredibly vivid without looking overblown. Every frame looks more lifelike, especially in 4K HDR content.
Where my plasma struggled with reflections and brightness in daylight, this OLED handles it effortlessly. It’s brighter, more energy-efficient, and razor-thin—plasma looks like a brick in comparison.
Motion handling is smoother too. Whether I'm watching fast-paced sports or gaming in 120Hz with low input lag, the OLED keeps everything crisp without ghosting. And there’s no burn-in paranoia like with plasma—Samsung's OLEDs are built with smarter pixel shifting and burn-in prevention.
Bottom line: if you loved plasma, you’ll love this even more. It’s got all the strengths (deep blacks, cinematic feel) but fixes the flaws—better brightness, smarter features, sleeker design, and way better gaming support. Samsung’s OLED isn’t just a worthy successor—it’s the evolution plasma fans have been waiting for.
