(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Hardware-wise, I’d say the laptop itself is a 5/5. The screen is great (OLED motion clarity is awesome), the cooling is effective, the keyboard is excellent, and the build quality is top-notch. The trackpad isn't amazing; it’s plastic and feels a bit cheap.
In terms of performance, this machine crushes gaming with dGPU mode enabled. Hybrid mode doesn't work very well and occasionally has issues switching over for games. For what this laptop is meant to do, it’s an absolute beast.
THE BAD
The Lenovo Legion Space software is awful it’s loaded with ads and useless bloatware. It was actually downgraded in recent versions. The RGB control is clunky, unintuitive, and resets itself constantly; there isn’t even a simple "RGB OFF" option. There are far too many extra Lenovo processes that prevent the laptop from sleeping properly, causing the battery to bleed out overnight.

The only way to actually use this device is to shut it down after every use or manually disable every piece of software and hardware from waking it up (make sure you have no usb devices plugged in this will also cause wake cycles). If you don't, the laptop will be nearly dead every morning. These constant sleep/wake cycles also cause the laptop to overheat, which can "brick" it temporarily and force a BIOS reset, wiping all your settings.
DO NOT buy this laptop for school or for use on the go; the battery life is simply not good. It’s a fantastic portable gaming monster when plugged in, but it isn't reliable for mobile work. It will be dead when you need it most.

Upgrading from a 1080ti desktop and 6700k processor.This laptop is a huge jump! the integrated cooling is quiet good. on balanced power mode, its quite capable which helps to run it cooler. On max settings, I use a llano V12 to achieve 10C change on mid fan settings.
The screen runs at 240hz, games are so silky smooth.My desktop screen is 3440x14400 is 144hz and I was happy about the laptops capability! The screen is a bit glossy, but I am glad I stuck with it. The screen is vividly gorgeous.
