Good monitor ruined by bad firmware

The good: 10/10 design, build quality, generous height adjustment, got it for sale at $999
The bad: The monitor artificially brightens the image in HDR, deleting details and destroying image quality. You cannot turn this off no matter what device you use to connect to it, firmware updates, there is no workaround and you are stuck with broken HDR in all picture modes.
I would have kept this if it didn't have this problem. The MSI MPG 321URX does not have this issue, so I will return this and get that instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great gaming monitor

I’ve used the Lenovo Legion Pro 32UD for a while now, and honestly, it feels like one of those upgrades you notice immediately. My previous monitor was a 4K Samsung monitor (IPS) from about 4 years ago. Blacks are actually black, colors have more depth, and the whole image just feels richer and more alive compared to a typical IPS screen. I game mostly. The differences in games I usually play is crazy. In Wuthering Waves, combat looks much more vibrant and smooth (at 120FPS). My previous monitor was not 240Hz, I can't be sure if that's what made the differences but the old one felt like there was display lags at times. In Genshin Impact, the world looks stunning — colors pop and night scenes, and under water scenes feel more immersive. In Black Myth Wukong, even at 80 FPS, motion stays sharp and the darker environments look incredible. All in all, it is a great. I'm really happy about this monitor.
