[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My desktop stays a bit cluttered. So any help I can get with organization is appreciated. The Deflecto desk file organizer is a big help. It attaches to the desktop so that the files are off of the desk, yet still accessible. The attachment is spring loaded and can be used on desktops of different thicknesses, mine is a thin glass. The mount incorporates a small tray for storing knickknacks, pens, paper clips, etc. This organizer is a convenient way to help with managing my clutter! Give it a try y’all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a terrific little organizer. It has two slots for papers and a little tray. As a homeschool family we find this handy as we have it set on the end of the desk and put the kids daily assignments in each slot and we put pencils or any additional items they might need in the tray so they can get going as soon as they wish. Its very sturdy and holds a decent amount of paper without anything falling or mixing together. I would highly recommend this.

Holds filing folder well, but nothing heavier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Deflecto - Desk File Organizer is best used for a few filing folders. I use mine for my folders and also for notebooks. If I placed anything else on it, such as a heavier book or several thick filing folders it started pull off my desk. Overall, I do love using it, so I have more space on my desk. Additionally, I like to use the tray on it for my medicine that I take or sometimes I use for my paper clips and push pins.

Doesn't look great, but gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The desk file organizer helps shift the clutter that would normally sit on your desk into a vertical stack. So that's great.
In order to use this though, make sure to measure the thickness of your desk. If it's not a normal desk thickness, you'll have trouble making this fit. I have a glass standing desk and this is too thick for that.
The holder is made of plastic, and so it bends if you put too much weight into the folders. My heavy chequebook binder was too much for this, but it easily held my tablet device and a number of magazines and papers. The setup doesn't look attractive, but it sure helps remove clutter. Outside of putting too much weight on, the holder is fairly sturdy once clamped on, and you do not need to worry about accidentally knocking things over. For that it's handy!
