[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Deflecto Cup Holder with tray is very well made. Fits desktops 1/4"to 1-1/2 thick. Comes in a beautiful gray color. Very easy to clamp onto desktop, takes only a few minutes to get the cup holder adjusted to your desktop. Holds your drinks or cup very firmly in place. Also has a tray attached to the cup holder you can put pens,paperclips, etc. I definitely would recommend this product.

Good for a crowded desk

It could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like this because having a spot off my desk for my drink would be a godsend however I don't feel it has a good enough hold to carry an open cup and not drop it. I tried but I noticed a slight bend and decided against it in fear it would spill and cause a mess. I did give it to my kids to use on their desk to put juice boxes since those are light enough. I would pass on this for a coffee mug or anything with a little weight to it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Measure thickness of your desk before buying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small desk, so any accessories that gives me more space is welcome.
For desks that are around 1.5" thick, this accessory works great. There's a spring-loaded clamp that you pull down to attach the holder.

The challenge is, if you have thicker desks - this will not fit. I have a glass standing desk and this will not fit on that.
The other thing to watch for us the weight of the cup. I tested a standard cup and it seemed to hold fine, but if I put just a bit of pressure on the holder , the clamp will not hold -- which could be a potential mess! So yes it can hold the weight of most beverages, but be careful where you place this cup holder to avoid accidents!
Where it works though, the extra storage from having the cup and the little tray to hold extra items is handy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
