Upgraded from my 4TB Reds to the 10TB Red Pros in my NAS. They have yet to disappoint. Great read/write speeds, with minimal sound difference compared to my 5400 RPM drive. Yes, you can probably get a larger hard drive for cheaper elsewhere, but you can beat WDs realizability.

I was unable to format the hard drive so I could use it. It had a drive error

Quality hard drives, based on my history with WD HDD, yet this is my first time purchasing directly from them, I’m extremely pleased and surprised to be honest on the attention to details when prepping this HDD for shipping. Top notch!!

Excellent choice for a professional home NAS. I have these in a RAID10 4-bay NAS. After a recent multi-disk failure (they were pretty old) with WD Reds, I decided to get the Red Pro's this time now that they are available. I don't need a lot of space so I leaned towards the smaller size.
I would recommend this to a friend!
