It works to supply power to the computer - BUT the physical form is terrible. It is advertised as "slim" but it is short and fat, making it difficult to find a home in a backpack. The wrap around power cord storage does not work after a few uses; it unwraps in storage. And having the power cord wrap around makes the bundle fatter, making it more difficult to store. Having a 3 foot 110 V cord is also a bother. I have swapped that out for a 6 foot 110 cord, which lets me place the Adapter next to my computer, and not be dangling in mid air, half way between the wall plug and the computer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I tried to find out the length of the cord but it was not listed anywhere and tech support didn't have an answer. So I took the chance and purchased and was pleasantly surprised that it is 6' long giving me ample length! Quick charging, small and light weight, great for traveling!
