Easy Assembly

The assembly instructions are quite detailed, making it easy to assemble the product without any issues. I even managed to replace the aerator with the detacher tool.

Great Detacher

Works great and pulls up a surprising amount of dead grass and thatch. It was easy to use and made a noticeable difference in my lawn after just one pass. Much faster and easier than doing it by hand. Very happy with the performance.

Design flaw!

The Aerator.Dethatcher has a design flaw. The machine is useful as either dethatcher or aerator, but cannot easily be switched from one to the other. Dethatcher and aerotor functions depend on rollers that are attached to the metal housing by a plastic piece that is screwed to the housing. It turns out that it is nearly impossible to separate the plastic piece from one type of roller after use so that the plastic piece can be attached to the other type of roller. The problem could have been solved by supplying 2 plastic pieces, However, no additional plastic piece is available for purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
