Initial reaction is great!

I just got this and assembled the handles. Instructions could have been a little clearer, including securing the collection bag to it's frame, but 78 y.o. me managed it. First test on small patch of lawn was amazing! My lawn was so bad that I will be emptying bag frequently, but that's minor considering on the amount of material that is being collected. Overall, I believe this is a great piece of equipment at a very decent price point.
I would recommend this to a friend!

16" Dethatcher

Unit runs well and gets the thatch up on level 1 & 2 . 3& 4 must be awful low!
Now as to the instructions assembling...no where does it address 3 items that are parts..2 are the cord attachments and easy to snap on at the end by looking at the picture, but item 13 should have been put on back when you install the mid handle...so you get to take off parts to add item 13 and then rebuild what I already had built! directions are incomplete!

Dethatcher

The Westinghouse dethatcher is easy to use and seems to work well, but the cord holder doesn't hold the cord well. An improvement would be to make the bag bigger to hold more debris.

This thing is scarifying

Bought this a couple of weeks ago to tear up my lawn. Started with the dethatcher which was not the way to go. After dethatching the whole thing and taking all that to the yard waste I switched and there was twice as much stuff with the scarifyer. Did a great job and I'll just start with the blades first next time!

nice power, nice size clipper catcher, 5 easy to set depth settings.
Assembly instruction and pictures not real easy to follow---not many steps

I bought Westinghouse based on my inverter generator purchase and satisfaction. Purchased dethatcher this and was not completely sold on it to do great work. Have always used gas powered. This tool does the work and is easy to handle. Assembly was
easy. For an affordable dethatcher that beats the heck out of a rake, I recommend highly.

Quality Performance and Assembly

The quality is above others that I have seen. Tines are great for removing thatch and placing thatch into attached bag supplied with the thatcher. The assembly was quick and easy. Attaching the cord holder was not in my instructions, I had to remove two bolts on left side of handle and slide cord holder in wher it belong per photo oh the thatcher. This could have been avoided if the instructions provided cord holder in advance of completing assembly. All in all, great product for the money.

Jury Still Out

Bought it a few days ago and used for the first time today. Dethatcher worked great. Jury is still out on the aerator. Seemed to work like a tiller. Time will tell.
