Bang for your buck

I've used this for the past year (January 2023 to February 2024). For the most part, it's a very functional, very effective device. It does exactly what I want it to do, which is charge my phone, my watch, and my earbuds. I even took this with me on a trip abroad, and it fit in my backpack great! Light, portable, easy to set up and use.
However, the bright light that comes on when the charging stand is being used is something that cannot be turned off. I was lucky in that I could use a microfiber cloth and just cover up the light (and keep the cloth in place by using the watch strap to hold it down). This isn't the worst thing in the world, but it is an annoying thing to deal with. Otherwise, my bedroom is *bathed* in light when I'm trying to sleep and it's disruptive. I'm not sure the developers who came up with this thought about that.
Recently I've been having issues with the watch charging pad. For whatever reason, my watch does not charge when placed on the pad and so I had been forced to use another wireless charger. While lasting a *year* is impressive, the fact that this happens is a definitive knock against making this a 4/5.
I would recommend this to a friend!
