not really user friendly

its not user friendly in my mind and the heart monitor does not work consistently in linking to 540, its aGarmin monitor

I have only had this for a dozen rides. I like the page that shows all of the stats while you ride. The riding I do is all rail trail, so the slope incline does not show accurately. Sometimes I think it is the tree cover and poor satellite pick up. I like the connection to my phone because it helps me decide if I need to answer or not. I like the side buttons because I can scroll through the different screens better than a touch screen.

UI is too complicated.

Feel like Garmin is adding too many features and making simple things that used to be simple - hard to do.
Would love a refresh of the Edge 130 with bigger screen and USB-C.
Just meed to be easy.

Cannot send courses to my 540 from the garmin connect app. Says it is sending them. But nothing ever pops up. And it Is connected.

I love the new features from my previous Edge 520 Plus. Grit and Flow w/JUMPS is fun on the MTB trails and the ClimbPro for climbing on my gravel rides. The display is easy to read.

Disappointed Garmin can't fix software issues

I bought as 530 was having problems dropping sensors come to find out 540 has same issue of dropping sensor is it goes into sleep mode. Not always preferable to have to shut down and start Edge 540 during a race.

Good but not always reliable

Great battery but I have had a lot of issues with it connecting to HRM and power meters. My last ride it wouldn’t connect with anything, including my phone to download my ride. Great when it works, very frustrating that it doesn’t always work the way it should.
