I bought this product because of past experience with other models. While blending it tightens the blade down to the point that I can't remove it. I had the same experience and therefore I purposely only hand tighten it to the point I think it may leak. It has happened a second time and I am unable to remove the blade with numerous attempts, even putting in the refrigerator to hopefully cool the cup. It is now useless and does not come with a tool to help unsighted the blade like previous models. It does blend well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Plastic breaks off drinking lid

I have had this model for about 6 months now. Everything works as it should. But, the to-go lids have a flaw. The part that covers the drinking spout has a small piece of plastic break off into my protein shake. It has happened three times now. Luckily I have seen it in my drink and not chocked on it. Be careful about that lid.

I had my loved Pro 900 for years but wanted a little more power for my smoothies. I tried the Ultra and there is a noticeable difference. The Ultra's 30 second program made a much better smoothie than the pro 900 in much less time.

Quick and easy preparation and clean-up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a mother of younger children, not in the best shape and trying to change that. A lot of times I don’t have time to sit down and eat something substantial or meal prep for myself(my kids are picky eaters so we don’t usually eat the same things) The Nutribullet is so quick and easy to use. I just made a smoothie with pineapple dole whip, fresh strawberries, fresh raspberries, fresh spinach and oranges. Even my 4 year old liked the taste of it and didn’t know I had spinach in it. The cleanup took as much time as the prep-basically no time at all. It has suction cups on the bottom of it, so it stays in place. The base is quite heavy, though. Also, I did have to stop and stir my smoothie a few times to get it completely blended. Those are the only 2 reasons I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. I can’t wait to try some of the recipes included with it!
