Sturdy, powerful, and modern!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nutribullet is a name that has earned its reputation in the blending space, and we’ve owned them in the past. So when I saw the Nutribullet Ultra, a newer, more powerful, modern take on the original, I was pretty excited to get my hands on it. And I’m happy to report, it is better in every metric, and the original was pretty darn great.
The Nutribullet arrived safely, well packaged, and protected from any dents or dings by a box with thick cardboard to buffet it from all sides. You don’t have to worry about yours getting damaged in transport. The box is quite delightful to look at, and it made me excited to use the product.
If you’re familiar with previous versions, this one is heavier, and sturdier, and it seems to be made of high quality, long lived components. I have every expectation that this is built to last and last and last. From the base to the blades and the drinking caps, every bit of this set is thick and strong, made for endurance.
The style is quite gorgeous, as it flairs upwards. There are only two buttons, invisible to the eye until the jar is twisted into place…then the glow, appearing vertically, a 30 second blend on top, and a pulse setting below. The buttons are responsive and intuitive to use. This is a machine that is simple to operate, and it does its job well. I’m very happy with the increased power, and it performs excellently.
It is much much quieter than other blenders, including previous versions of the Nutribullet, so if you didn’t love the noise yours made, this is the upgrade you’re looking for. I also love the suction cup feet, as they are very strong and keep your Nutribullet upright and I damaged. Another small delight is the recipe book, and it definitely wetted my appetite.
I will note that the cord isn’t overly long, which is awesome for us because it sits very near an outlet, but if your kitchen counters aren’t quite so conveniently powered, it may give you a bit of trouble.
All in all, we are very pleased with the Nutribullet Ultra, as it looks fantastic in our kitchen, is modern in design and function (with the glowing power settings), is relatively quiet (for a blender), and is very sturdily crafted. We will certainly and wholeheartedly recommend!
