Very solid, sensible blender.

We recently tried out this blender around our house. Honestly, I'm not that big in to kitchen work, but my wife does occasionally make smoothies. When we got the blender the first thing I noticed was how nice the item looks. It's a very nice look, not cheap as I had somewhat expected. The blender works well and does the job you'd expect without problems. I feel there is enough power to handle heavier projects than smoothies, but we didn't give it a big workout. We did receive the blender as a sample to try out, but I would have no problem purchasing the item for our kitchen. The good job combined with the good look would make this a no brainer. To me, this is a more sensible option compared to some of the high end blenders on the market today.

Awesome Blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this blender!!! I was really excited to get this in my home and try it. First I used it for a smoothie, and it came out perfect. I love how quickly it made the smoothie, and it was awesome. Later I used it to make a milkshake, and it was great as well. The texture was amazing!

This is a really good blender. It has a variety of speeds/settings for many different uses. The pitcher is very sturdy glass. My favorite feature is that it is two appliances in one, with the interchangeable chopper. I also like the easy clean feature for quick cleans between uses, but even a thorough cleaning is easy as all parts (except the base) are dishwasher safe. It is awesome for making smoothies in the morning for breakfast and I made salsa with the chopper and it came out great. The only complaint I have is that it is a little big for my cabinet, but it's not their fault I live in a cramped apartment. Overall 5 stars, it's a great appliance.

Perfect Smoothies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a replacement for my current blender because it couldn't crush the ice well enough for smoothies. This blender is awesome! I've only made smoothies so far and they are great! It is also really easy to clean with no hidden spaces that traps food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this product. It was very versatile. It crushed ice easily which made for some really creamy smoothies. I had been in the market for a good food processor for a while now and I liked that this product was able to function as both a blender and a 3 cup food processor! It is a very durable, well made product and is super easy to clean. I threw away my old blender after using this one several times!!

Great blender. Ok food processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this blender. It's quick, effective, and really durable. I used the blender portion for my morning smoothies and when I needed to pulverize some fruit to make homemade fruit leather. I live how sturdy the glass blender is. Plus it's sleek-looking and doesn't take up a ton of space. I also used the food processor portion, but was less impressed. The food processor is plastic and feels cheap compared to the blender portion. I tried to make a cream cheese based dip in it (which I can do in a normal food processor) but it couldn't handle it. My dip was left with lumps.

Solid Blender!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had another Oster Blender that was wearing out. I recieved this blender and LOVE the features and especially love the food processor attachment. I wish I had this blender with my first child, as it would have saved me from buying a baby food maker. The only drawbacks I found are it is quite a bit louder than my previous blender and the buttons seem a little cheaper. But, with that said, it makes smoothies in no time without binding up. I did recieved this product complimentary to review.

Attractive Blender with Good Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this blender for about three weeks to a month and I really do not have any complaints. To start with, the blender is very attractive. I love the black and brushed nickel coloring and I keep it on my counter all the time. Second, I LOVE that it has a glass jar and not just cheap plastic like some other blenders do. The glass is thick and seems very sturdy and I just stick it in the dishwasher when I am done. I have blended and chopped various foods since receiving the blender. I have done tomatoes, onions, and avocados to make salsa and guacamole. Everything blended wonderfully. I have done all kinds of fruit, vegetables, and ice to make smoothies. My only tiny complaint is that sometimes small chunks of ice do not blend all the way. This does not happen every time and is a very minor complaint. I have even chopped some vegetables for soups. I love the stainless steel blades and that it has 16-speeds. This blender makes everything much easier. I would have no qualms about recommending this blender to anyone.
