Great for any homeowner to maintain their yard!

So much better than gas powered!

It’s easy to change the battery and it has excellent battery life. It is a million times better than gas powered. I am beyond impressed and so excited to learn more about Skil products!

Long lasting, low noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with both of these! The battery was easy to charge and has lasted through 2 big lawn maintenance days. The trimmer was extremely easy to use, and precise at trimming around the edges of patio and flower beds. The blower was strong enough to blow all the grass and trimmings in one swoop. The noise level is considerably lower compared to other products we have used in the past. All in all, these are amazing products and I highly recommend them!

Quick start up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Given that it’s winter, I can’t comment on the performance of these machines but I can comment on the quality and assembly. The blower was so simple to put together, just pop the tube on and it clicks into place, add the battery and it’s ready to go. The trimmer was a bit more challenging but still under 10 minutes and ready to go. It had four screws and a wing nut. The hardest part was that some of the plastic holes didn’t quite line up so I had to force the screw through. I appreciated that the Phillips screwdriver wasn’t included as I don’t need any more random parts. I liked that the trimmer folded in the middle. If I wanted to unscrew it for storage space I could. Also, if you register the product the warranty extends to 5 years. This seems like a great quality set for the price.

I am thoroughly impressed with the PWR CORE 40 Brushless String Trimmer and Blower combination. The trimmer exhibits exceptional performance, delivering robust cutting power, while the battery life is commendable. The leaf blower operates effectively on high power for approximately 20 minutes, which is adequate for managing large yard clean-up tasks.
The battery efficiency is noteworthy, with a relatively quick recharge time that varies based on its depletion level. Assembly was minimal, and the battery was typically ready for operation within an hour of charging. The ergonomic design of the trimmer enhances usability, and it boasts sufficient power to handle a variety of trimming tasks. Likewise, the blower simplifies debris removal with ease.
Overall, this kit has not only met but often exceeded my technical expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend it to colleagues or peers. Both the Core 40-string trimmer and blower are lightweight and user-friendly, offering a significant advantage over traditional gas-powered equipment. Transitioning to electric power has proven more than adequate for my operational needs, marking a favorable shift in my approach to lawn care.

Quie but powerful!

My last leaf blower was so loud I had to wear earplugs..this one is nice and quiet but extremely powerful. The battery life is top tier! These are also lightweight and easy to carry which is great because our new house has a yard the size of a park! With tons of leaves to clean up from last fall!

Lawn clean up care made easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been my best experience with Skil brand, the cordless lead blower is a fantastic product! My backyard has a huge tree covering most of the yard so needless to say o get tons of leaves. This product charges quickly and was able to hold a charge for my entire project with a little battery life leftover. The blower was a bit noisy but nothing out of the usual when dealing with a blower. Already was able to get all the leftover leaves that were buried underneath the snow. And thanks to Skil and the 40v leaf blower kit it made my job much easier and the stress on my back much less. Now that I already have the battery to this kit, I will be purchasing the trimmer/edger as well that is also compatible!
