Powerful blower and lightweight design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and have cleared my 1 acre yard several times with it. I think this is an excellent product and highly recommend it. I want to ask Toro to please consider selling an accessory for it - I would like a slight taper to the nozzle so that there is more direction to the airflow for some jobs. I would love it if there were a nozzle that would slip inside the existing tube with a flared base to hold it in place. Or possibly an alternate nozzle to attach to the blower base with a slightly longer tube that tapers more than this. I would recommend 1-inch to 1.5-inch less diameter than the current diameter at the exit of the nozzle.

I have had this product one (1) year and used it 3 times during that year, this year it will not start totally dead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend not to use the appliance with a damaged electrical cord or plug, only use an extension cord recommended for outdoor use. Ensure that you fully seat the cord on the plug, check extension cord frequently during use for holes or cracks in insulation and check all outlets for working power. If your blower fails to run when you turn it on, we offer and extensive list of authorized service dealers that would be glad to provide a physical inspection on your blower. Find a dealer in your area at Toro.com/locator. Your machine has a 2-year warranty that protects against manufacturing defects. You can view your machines warranty and owners manual at Toro.com.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blower has more power than my previous model 51618. Ergonomically, I liked the handle on the old one better. It was easier to control. The sliding power switch on the old one was easy to move with the thumb while holding the blower with just one hand. The 51624 switch is not easy to rotate with the thumb while holding the blower and really takes two hands to hold the blower and rotate the switch. I have used the blower just a few times and it will take some time to get used to the differences.
