Absolute garbage

Purchased in store worked once then on the second use the switch died and now will only run at all times when plugged in
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's about six months old and something has broken off and banging around inside. I'm having an impossible time figuring out how to file a warranty claim.

I was very pleased with Toro customer service. The F700 blower went bad after 1 and a half year (I believe the carbon brushes) and the toro company sent me a new device with a week.
I will give 4 stars for the quality of the F700. It is used on a residencial site and about bi weekly, I was just disapointed when it crashed.

A word of caution

The “male” electrical cord plug on the blower has a rubber protective sheath around it such that it will not plug directly in to any retractable or multiple outlet extension cord that I have found.
In other words, plug is made to only plug in to a single receptacle extension cord, which is not what I wanted for my 85 year old mother. She needs the retracting cord for obvious reasons of not tripping over the cord and not having to roll or bundle the cord to move to another porch or patio.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better Power than my 2 Cycle unit

I was getting tired of the stink oil/gas mix for my 2 cycle blower but reluctant to get an electric one because of not finding one that could match the output power. Did some online searching of reviews and product tests and decided to give the Toro Powerjet F700 a try. This is a great unit. Very powerful and I think performs better than my 2 cycle gas unit. Wish it had some attachments so I could get a smaller stream of air at a higher velocity or a longer tube to get the air flow closer to the ground without bending.
I would recommend this to a friend!
