My 2nd In This Model After 15 Years My old one switch Got Tired. Still Works. Love The Metal Impeller. I've Compared it To Others. I Still Take A Toro. It Performs Well For the Job.

My 2 year old blower vac started making a bad vibration and loud noise, making it unusable. I looked and found the 2year warranty was expired by 2 weeks. I called Toro customer service and got connected with a young lady right away. The young lady was quite understanding, verified my registration of the unit, and within minutes was asking if i could bring it to a local dealer FOR A FREE REPLACEMENT! I happily drove to the dealer and he had already talked to Toro and my free unit was ready. Wow!

I've only had the blower about a month but it looks well made and certainly has a lot of air speed. I like the metal fan and feel it will hold up well when vacuuming leaves. If there is a negative it's the fact the fan is very noisy.

Had several trees cut down and the stumps ground. The vac did an excellent job in sucking up the ground up mulch on the surface. Did not do a great job with the mulch that was underneath and wet. But dried- no problem. So far, very happy with the purchase.

This is our second purchase of this model. First lasted ten years before motor bearings failed. Vacuum performance much better than leaf blowing. Variable speed at highest setting unusable without ear protection. At the price point it is a great performer.
Pros: vac/blowing weight value quality
Cons: weak blowing and noise levels

Had used another brand for about twelve years until it just blew up one day. Switched over to Toro and am on my third one in five years. In each case the switch to control the speed quit working. The first one was a two speed and after awhile it quit working on the hi speed. Bought the adjustable speed one and after awhile it would not shut off. Called a Toro dealer and was told there was no replacement switch I could buy.
I again bought the adjustable speed one because it was on sale. So far so good but if the switch goes again I am going back to the other brand I used forever.
The blower works great and I really like it but I think it should last more than a couple of years. I have a small city lot and really do not have to use it a lot so it is not abused. Toro needs to address their switch issue in my case.

Internal blower components are not sold as we are concerned about the safety of our customers and the electrical hazards that may result during the repair process. Also, replacement of single parts (i.e. brushes, springs, switches) tend to be short-termed due to existing wear on the armature. From a safety standpoint, internal electrical repairs must be “hi-pot” tested to make sure they are safe. This test is not something readily available to all customers; therefore, we do not sell internal electrical parts.
