This is my third Toro blower/vac. The previous two were fine and and lasted about 5 years before dying. The bags have been the weakest part. The tendency is to eventually rip around the connector to the motor. That plus the zipper giving out are my main complaints. The new model has the zipper at the bottom of the bag. It will be interesting to see how this works. Seems to me that the pressure of the dirt will work to clog the zipper. There seems to be more dust coming through the bag on the new model. We'll keep our fingers crossed.
Pros: vacuum
Cons: dirty job

ight weight and powerful. Still have my original one bought 20+ years go. Passed down to son in-law. hope this one last as long. Will probably out last me!!!
Had used another brand for about twelve years until it just blew up one day. Switched over to Toro and am on my third one in five years. In each case the switch to control the speed quit working. The first one was a two speed and after awhile it quit working on the hi speed. Bought the adjustable speed one and after awhile it would not shut off. Called a Toro dealer and was told there was no replacement switch I could buy. I again bought the adjustable speed one because it was on sale. So far so good but if the switch goes again I am going back to the other brand I used forever. The blower works great and I really like it but I think it should last more than a couple of years. I have a small city lot and really do not have to use it a lot so it is not abused. Toro needs to address their switch issue in my case.
Pros: very easy to use
Cons: quality is lacking.

Always good to hear feedback from our customers! Internal blower components are not sold as we are concerned about the safety of our customers and the electrical hazards that may result during the repair process. Also, replacement of single parts (i.e. brushes, springs, switches) tend to be short-termed due to existing wear on the armature. From a safety standpoint, internal electrical repairs must be “hi-pot” tested to make sure they are safe. This test is not something readily available to all customers; therefore, we do not sell internal electrical parts. If you have any issues inside of the warranty period, we strongly encourage you to apply our full Two-Year Toro Manufacturer’s warranty for our Blower/Vacuum products should there be any defect identified and we will replace the blower for you at no charge. If for any reason you need further help, contact our customer care team at 888-384-9939. Thank you!
This is our second purchase of this model. First lasted ten years before motor bearings failed. Vacuum performance much better than leaf blowing. Variable speed at highest setting unusable without ear protection. At the price point it is a great performer.
Had several trees cut down and the stumps ground. The vac did an excellent job in sucking up the ground up mulch on the surface. Did not do a great job with the mulch that was underneath and wet. But dried- no problem. So far, very happy with the purchase.
I've only had the blower about a month but it looks well made and certainly has a lot of air speed. I like the metal fan and feel it will hold up well when vacuuming leaves. If there is a negative it's the fact the fan is very noisy.
