Great Vac/ Blower, Horrible Bag

am on my third Toro Ultra Blower Vac. Love everything about it except the bag. First Blower replaced after several, guessing five years, of heavy fall leaf vacuuming, fixing the bag multiple times. Replaced second because i gave up on fixing the bag. This is a fabulous tool, if only the bag lasted through a whole season. Bought another believing there had to be an improvement on the bag. I have sewed it, duct taped it, Gorilla taped it, all to no avail. Please fix the bag Toro!

Blower is good, vac produces static shock

This product has a decent leaf blower, but when I switched over to the vac I kept getting a static shock. Will be returning this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is due to static electricity. The same thing that can happen when the humidity is low and you walk across a carpet and get a shock from a doorknob or when you enter/leave a car and touch the door handle. While startling, a static shock is not harmful to an average person. Because outdoor power products have electrical systems or are powered by electricity, it is understandable why an operator would conclude that the product has a fault that caused the shock. A static electricity shock is not a problem with the product. It will go away when moisture conditions improve. There is no product defect to fix. We can suggest a change to different shoes or clothes may minimize or eliminate the static electricity condition.

The metal impeller makes a big difference!

While this blower-vac is comparable in design to the lower end model, the metal impeller blade makes a big difference and I expect it will last much longer. Good vacuum performance. I also like that all the components of the other model are compatible with this model, i.e. the bag, the nozzle, the vacuum components ... which can serve as a backup should I ever need it. I like it a lot and it was a good value compared to gas/oil engines.
Pros: metal impeller blade, blower-vacuum in one, components compatible with previous model
Cons: weight

I bought this because I am disabled to the point I can't stand and rake leaves. This blows them into a pile, then a quick switch, and I can vacuum them up and easily transfer to a trash bag. Amazing product. I couldn't be happier. It is lightweight and the attachments make it even more versatile. Thanks Toro for making something so useful and affordable!!
Pros: easy to change from blower to vac, easy to store extra parts in bag

I purchased this Toro product because I had used one before and I liked the vacuum feature besides being just a blower. I didn't want to have to blow away the same leaves over and over, so cleaning them up with this blower vac was worth the investment. The trees that my neighbors have, are constantly dropping leaves and the wind inevitably blows them onto my property. At least they can be bagged and discarded then.

This is my first electric leaf blower, it has more power than the gas blower I had. I didn't need a gas blower since I just use it around my house and I am happy with this one.
Pros: easy to carry
