I like my drip coffee maker but it does drip when released from the plate. Also, after cleaning the carafe, the top feature did not settle into the carafe correctly and now it will not unscrew.. This is as problem because the coffee comes out of the top instead of the spout when poured.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Once the coffee maker has started brewing, we do not recommend the carafe be removed until the coffee has completed brewing. We're sorry to hear you had an issue getting the carafe lid on correctly, and we recommend removing the lid and re-installing it to ensure it is properly seated. This will resolve any issues you've had with the coffee coming out of the lid rather than the spout.
Just one year doesn’t work anymore because to much money for nothing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello, we are so sorry to hear that your coffee maker stopped working in such little time. We can understand how frustrating that can be. We recommend checking your warranty which can be found on page 16 of your manual here https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-9000019-1.pdf&_ga=2.7833076.778006708.1667831118-1451762796.1666719384. If you happen to need anything else please let us know.- Dianna@GEA
We really love our GE Cafe coffee maker. It's not only attractive, but it also makes terrific coffee! Our only complaint is about the water filter. Not only is it impossible to find replacement filters, but there is no information about how frequently the filter should be changed. Please contact me via email to tell me how to buy the correct filters, and how frequently it should be replaced. Thank you!
