My living room is no longer a sauna

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing cools the room fast, and my family has officially stopped complaining about the heat. The app and remote are handy, and setup wasn't too bad once I figured out the window kit. It's a little bulky and not exactly silent, but I'll take that over sweating through movie night.

We just set up our AC and we are so amazed with all the function accessories that come with it like the humidifier the outside and inside control system to see the weather it’s more than just the AC unit and we love
Wonderful cooling system very efficient. The noise is not so loud it’s portable. You can move it anywhere and a preheats for the heating as well.

Smaller size is my favorite

Whynter ARC-1230WX – Excellent Portable A/C

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Whynter ARC-1230WX to cool my living room and dining room, about 320 square feet. Although it's rated for up to 500 square feet, it has had no trouble keeping my main living area comfortable, and the bedrooms also get a little cooler as the air circulates.
The inverter technology does a great job maintaining a consistent temperature, and the unit feels well built. The remote is easy to use, and setup was straightforward. I used the included sliding glass door installation kit, and it worked well for my condo.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the cooling performance, ease of operation, and quality. I would definitely recommend this portable air conditioner.

Nice Upgrade

This new ARC-1280wx is cooling down my bedroom quite well, and a bit quicker and quieter than an older Whynter unit I've had for many years. The older unit still works great. It was moved to my office. When you power on the new ARC-1280wx, I wish the air deflector (swing/vent) would remember where you last positioned it, or allow the user to make a quick manual adjustment. Otherwise, all the controls and features work well.

Great Supplement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great air unit for most any room. We're excited to have it as a supplement to our HVAC since we're in a townhome with too many floors! And it's relatively quiet. We wish the install was a little cleaner, but it's made versatile so all-in-all it fits most any window.

We have central air, but our townhome has too many floors to really get the upstairs to a nice temperature, especially during the heat of the summer. The install was easy enough and we're excited to use these all summer! it is efficient, it is quiet, we love the portability, and we haven't had an issue with the condensation. A BIG YAY all around!
