function to add

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a great phone. I especially love the Galaxy AI! I would like to suggest adding a feature that would prevent the phone from accidentally dialing 911 multiple times while in one's pocket (and yes I had screen lock on along with the other option that is supposed to prevent this from occurring)

Hey there Beeeshae,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Galaxy A36 5G. We're glad to hear you're enjoying its smart, intuitive features and overall performance. Your suggestion to add safeguards against accidental emergency dialing is valuable; we love hearing how customers want to improve their experience. To stop your Galaxy from dialing 911 accidentally, you can enable Accidental Touch Protection, turn off Double Tap to Wake, set a strong screen lock like a PIN or fingerprint, and customize Emergency SOS by requiring a swipe or disabling automatic calls if your software allows. These options are available in Settings under Display, Advanced Features, and Safety & Emergency. Blocking accidental touches prevents the screen from registering inputs when your device is in dark places like a pocket or bag. To turn on this feature, go to Settings > Display, then swipe the switch on Block accidental touches to the right. Your feedback helps us develop future updates. Thank you for your review, and for being part of the Samsung community.

It has overall a great lifespan
on November 11, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this phone for around 6 years now and I've had no issues with it at all. The interface had always run smoothly and the phone is surprisingly strong. It's had a couple of falls without its case on and I still don't have any cracks on it. I'm thinking of upgrading my phone soon. For sure going to get another one in the Galaxy series.

How is it going, ErikBayArea,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your Galaxy A36 5G. We understand the desire for a clear upgrade when switching devices, especially if you're used to the A42. Each Galaxy A series model has its own strengths, and the A36 5G focuses on stability, a sleek design, and intuitive improvements that get better over time. Picture quality and performance often shine brightest when paired with the latest software updates, so make sure your device is fully up to date. Additionally, regularly optimizing your device can lead to smoother performance. We appreciate your feedback and encourage you to explore the new smart feature tools; they often offer the biggest improvements over earlier A-series models. Thank you for choosing Samsung as your go-to brand.

What a cell phone should do.
on November 11, 2025
Posted by: RoyGala36
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cell phone simply does what a cell phone should do, and has features that are on par with higher end cellulars such as camera resolution/quality and provides an emulated or virtual cell phone along with using a sim card, simultaneously, if the user needs for example, a separate business line. The memory provides enough space to store apps and documents while the hardware allows a broad, flexibility to enable exotic apps such as spectroscopy or sound into photo. Overall, the price and quality for Galaxy AI and what it does outweighs the high end, sweet brands, which sour the restrictions and price for what THEY do.
