want a real honest review? While the lamp itself looks nice and has cool lighting schemes, the overall light quality is very poor. After a couple of days, it became clear to me how low quality the lighting actually is, so I replaced it with a different lamp. Yeah the photos online look super bright but believe me, once you see them in person you will understand. Compared to Govee, the lighting output honestly looks cheap and almost comical next to Hue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We use this in my 4 year olds room as a night light, nighttime reading light, and a party light for his friends. As always I wish Apple HomeKit would allow me to change the individual lights without going into Govee’s app, but that’s an Apple issue and not Govee.
This light was super easy to setup and the preset lights in Govee’s app work great! It doesn’t get warm at all and is easy to dim using voice assistance or shortcuts on your phone. It even integrates into Apple automations well making it a sign of when to start bedtime! If you see this on sale… don’t hesitate to get one for your small or large room!

This lamp is great! I love the beautiful array of colors it displays on our ceiling and if I need to read, it’s easy change it into an excellent reading lamp. Happy customer here!
