scan to register doesn't work

I tried to register via scan and followed directions. After 3 attempts I gave up and went to my Mac-Air to register. My first Chefman kettle leaked after 4 days. I returned and after thoroughly researching different models, I chose this one. I have had it 3 days, so far no problems.
