One of the best Laptops/Macbooks I've ever used.

I'm usually a decent fan of Apple products being a PC user myself. I decided to switch from PC to Apple for my next work laptop and I decided on a Macbook for my ads to edit and for my websites and landing pages. And this has been one of the best devices I've ever used for editing and other tasks such as web browsing and programming.
Pros: - Final Cut Pro - Has most of the same applications if not similar applications as a Windows device would - Photoshop is better on Mac than PC in my own experiences. - Touch ID - Screen looks amazing and viewing angles look good - Fast CPU thanks to the M1 processor, so videos compile faster and it takes less time for photoshop to render a photo. - Windows sideloading is better in 2021 than what it was in like 2011, coming from someone who owned a mid-2011 Macbook Air. -Battery Life is one of the best compared to most modern laptops. Within an hour of first boot it went from 100% - 95%. - Performance wise with gaming is actually not too bad, with Windows 10 it runs flawlessly with some games, some games do have some compatibility issues though which means some games will run like total crap while some other games will run good depending on if they're updated to run with the M1 Processor. It's a very fast CPU however there's still some compatibility issues here and there although very very rare if you're just running MacOS.
Cons: -Overall get a Gaming Laptop, or better yet a Gaming PC if you want something to game on. Unless you're a Web/Software Dev or similar editing-like role like me. Otherwise steer clear from Macs. -Apple Account Protection is still crappy, I can't log into my account. However it doesn't limit you like an iPad would. You can still install apps from the internet. -It took a bit time to get used to the UI, if you've never used a Mac or haven't used one since Snow Leopard this is gonna take a bit of time to get used to Big Sur. But it's a beautiful OS so far so pros on that one for design wise. -But functionality kinda sucks a bit because they try so hard to not make Mac have the same functionality as windows i.e. dual window is done by holding the expand window button, to scroll you have to use two fingers or to right click you press the pad with two buttons, etc.
Overall, not a bad laptop whatsoever, I've enjoyed my first month with the Macbook Air 2020. It's been a wild ride and I've both enjoyed and disliked some aspects of the 2020 Air. I'd recommend it for editors, programmers, and those in job positions similar to those.
Loving my new MacBook Air! It is so fast with lots of storage room. No more problems with outdated applications. I had my last MacBook Air for 9 years! That is amazing for a laptop!
I've had 3 prior gen MacBook Airs and an 2 earlier gen Pros and this is the best experience I've had. The keyboard is fabulous, the screen is beautiful and I haven't had any issues with lag no matter what I throw at it. The finger print reader gets it right every time. I'm extremely satisfied.
I like having my own MacBook for my own use . My brother and I were sharing a MacBook between us. Now that he is entering high school we thought he would need his own.
