Great amp! Plenty of power! Lots of tuning capabil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hifonics brutus bg 1000.2 amp surprised me! Ive had some sound in my weekend car for a good while now and the current sub amp I had has been giving me issues with getting hot and cutting off so it needed to be replaced! Upon opening the box I was impressed with the quality of construction the amp seemed to have. I read all about its specs and it was a perfect match for the two 10" subs in my trunk! I carefully wired it up which was easy due to its easy to use connections! I then tuned it to what I thought would likely be the best sound and as soon as I started my car and gave it a listen it was quite impressive! After fine tuning it with the easy to use eq settings and filters it offers it got even better! No funny noises or engine noise to speak of!! The added bass boost/frequency knob worked as it should and gave the ability for even more fine tuning from the drivers seat! I sat and listened to music for at least a hour and there was no hiccups. Went back to the trunk to touch it and see if it was hot and it was faintly warm as it should be! If your amp is burning hot to the touch something is wrong!!! I drove a 379mile trip today and being alone in the vehicle I absolutely jammed it hard the whole way! The amp performed as it should and without issue! Checked it for heat again upon my arrival and found nothing out of the ordinary! If this thing lasts then its going to be a great amplifier! So far I can say its a 10/10. Now I may want a matching 4 channel version to put on my mids and highs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a very light weight design. The bass is perfect my son loves it in his truck. The size is perfect fit to still be concealed in tight spots. The noise if hooked up right is just perfect not to much static and enuff bass that the music is still clear.

Powerful lows!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product worked excellent with my dual voice coil 12 inch jvc subwoofer. I wired each coil to one channel to deliver the perfect amount of power to the woofer. The high pass and low pass filters work excellent to get that crisp sound you are looking for. Setup was easy because I already had all the wiring done previously in my car but would take someone longer if they had to wire all the power and aux cords
