I’ve had my Canon IS binos for 10+ years and they work wonderfully. If you take care of them, they will take care of you! I will buy another pair as gifts!

Not happy with the outer case of the binoculars

My binoculars ar 4 or 5 years old and the outer case actually melted into a black gunk.

WARNING: not water resistant

Binoculars work fine unless they get damp. Then the electronics short out and the stabilization stops working. Slow support and very expensive to repair. Not for use on boats or anywhere near water. Save your money and buy Steiners.

Amazing binoculars

Amazing binoculars. I have a condition that causes me to shake, the image Stabilizing allows me to bird watch again. I wear glasses and rolling the eye cups back allow full view with my glasses on. Highly recommend these!

To be perfectly honest, I have not had them long enough to experience the other reviewer concerns regarding the surface imperfections. But I could honestly say that these are the best binoculars I have ever purchased as far as the stability and quality for what I purchased them for. If I would recommend anything right now which is not a show stopper would be to allow the stabilization to stay on without pressing the button. If the button was just the on/off switch would be absolutely perfect.

The envy of African guides

My guide in Uganda/Rwanda became quite attached to my binocs, but I kept them. Ideal for eagles and other animals in exotic places...or my backyard.
