More Comfortable To Hold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The handle on this wrench is more than twice as thick as my current 10" adjustable wrench, about 1/4" wider, and is coated with a plastic/rubber coating that makes it very comfortable to hold. Aside from the larger size filling out the palm, the hard plastic/rubber coating has a soft feel to it. The base of the jaws also has a sharp angle to it, which nests perfectly on the head of the bolt or nut to prevent slipping, where my current wrench is slightly rounded.
When I first took it out of the package the thumb screw was a little difficult to turn when adjusting the jaws. I was not able to adjust with only my thumb while I held the wrench. I had to use two fingers to spin it back and forth to loosen it up. After open and closing the jaws 5 or 6 times it now moves smoothly and is easy for one hand operation. That is something to remember when you first use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this little guy about a month ago. Fits easily into you tool pouch or tool bag. I need something small but had to have jaw that opened wide so it was hard to find a tool to fit my needs. This one had it all compact comfortable grip. The jaw will open to 15/16" makes it good for nuts on 1" all thread rod. Easy to operate with one hand and doesn't slip like some wrench do. Get your own and see how you like it.

Solid tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 10 inch adjustable wrench is what I know as a Cresent wrench. By all means it lives up to its name. I do own others by other brands but this one is a step above.
The cushion grip is the first thing you may notice about this wrench. When you grab the handle you notice the soft rubber feel that isn’t too thick. The cushion is just thick enough to soften the feel and not be a hindrance on the tool operation. I usually don’t like handles with big plasticky grips because they tend to pull off or twist when you don’t want them to. This grip is thin enough that I haven’t had any problems.
As for the rest of the wrench, it is top of the line. The adjustment spins easily. The thickness of the wrench is slightly thinner than my other wrenches, but the handle is a little wider than my others which helps with your hold on the grip.
My wrench does have one problem that I have identified. When the adjustment is set to about 1/16 inch the adjustment binds and is hard to turn. I can turn it but it is remarkably different than the rest of the range. I can see this affecting your use if you are turning wing nuts.
Overall, this wrench is of higher quality, regarding fit and finish, than my other adjustable wrenches. I would certainly pay a few dollars extra for this wrench over the others I own. Another step up for my tool bag!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This crescent wrench is the only one you’ll need again. The cushioned grip makes it super comfortable to use all day. The finish is great and doesn’t scratch easily. Also can be used in place if any hammer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this wrench, and it's already my go-to crescent wrench. Coated, big handle is great, comfortable too. Very smooth adjusting, and machined well so it doesn't slip off or open up as I'm using it. Will definitely be getting more of these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All I have to say is, it’s a Creaent. That should be enough said. Great tool, great grip on handle as well as jaws. Good size length with a great weight to it. Makes for light torquing to heavy torquing a breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smooth acting, tight well moving arm, and just the right size for most anything around the house. Jaws are a good hardness for even grade 8 nuts. Has a very comfortable grip, and just seems to be the perfect size for an around the house tool. Highly recommend this!
