I had previously owned the Karcher follow- me pressure washer which I why I chose the K1. I found this model more suited for my primary needs of washing cars. I liked the size and especially the grab handle. It was similar to moving a backpack around- light and easy. With the K1, the pressure was less powerful but more than adequate to get the job done. When done, it's much smaller and easier to store.

I have only used this product once. However, it is almost identical to the one that I bought on 5/17/2009 (K 2.28). It lasted 27 years! I looked at some other brands, but Karcher has always had an excellent name in power washers.

Great bang for the buck!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The compact size makes this really easy to maneuver for cleaning anywhere. It has great power and I was able to easily spray hard to reach places on my car. I think the value for this item is great compared to other brands and would recommend. My only feedback is I wish it had a longer power cord.

It is easy to set up and use and is compact, so if you don’t have much storage space, this is perfect. It makes cleaning your outdoor space a breeze!

Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The K1 vertical pressure washer is a lightweight washer that is easy to carry with a handle on top. The water pressure can be adjusted by twisting the wand. It is perfect for washing cars and light cleaning, but it is not enough pressure if you are looking to wash sidewalk or driveway-things that are tougher to get the dirt out. That’s the only reason for me taking one star away. Other than that it works well and I am satisfied with it.
