Great sound!

Bad Quality

Cool in concept, bad execution. The controls are easy to figure out, and when this stupid machine actually worked, the dials worked fine. However. I got this speaker (ilive platinum IHB26B) roughly 2 years ago. In that time span I have used it three times, all within the last year. However, now my speaker refuses to turn on. Regardless of where I plug it in, I hear the click of it "turning on" but the lights never flash, I can't pair it any more, my phone won't connect, and as such no music will play. I've never turned the lights off, they would always light up blue when I plugged it in. It's not happening any more. For three uses this is a huge waste of money, a waste of my space, and now a waste of my time writing this review. Seems like this machine will work for a few hours total and then break with literally no troubleshooting guide online (that doesnt force me to a skeevy site). Bad purchase, thankfully it was just a gift so I myself am not out money, but this $50 product functions as well as my $8 speaker does, and this just costs 10x the price for an even smaller lifespan.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this speaker less than two weeks ago. Bluetooth function no longer works nor does the lights. Only way I can use this speaker is thru aux connection thus dfeating the wireless use. Shame on me but I apparently tossed my receipt so I am stuck with this inferior product. Other reviews have stated same issue. Do not buy this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's not the greatest richest fullest sound I've ever heard, but for the price I paid and size of the speakers, and weight of the speakers, it's totally acceptable. It was very easy to set up. Didn't even have to hit the Pair button. My tablet found the device and connected once I told it to.
