Definitely worth it for the family

Bought one of this a year ago and I bought another one today, powerful, great sound quality, portable and convenient to use. I used it for outdoor parties such us to the beach, cook out and small gathering with friends

It’s compact and well built which makes it very portable, however the microphones are small. The lighting modes help set the mood and the vocal effects are so fun!
