Turns itself off after 30 seconds

Automatically turns off if you stop using for 30 seconds. I don't know why this is how they are programed. Completely useless. If I'm watching a video, and someone talks to me, and I pause, after 30 seconds, I have to reconnect the ear buds. Why is this a thing?

I use them all day every day. Great for music receiving phone calls. When you're hands are busy, the call quality is great. The receiver can hear me clearly they are awesome
