High quality brand, disappointing camera

I would like to start off by saying some of this review and my personal experience may have been related to my wifi connection or signal strength and may not directly relate to your connection possibilities.
With that being said, I was not at all pleased with the sound quality. There was a constant static crackling type of noise. We tried changing locations, and ensuring nothing was near it that could be causing the sound. It remained and seemed to slowly grow in volume over time. It was extremely distracting.

The quality was decent. It may be a quality issue with my wifi provider and connectivity. I’m not completely sure. But I did not experience the clear quality I was expecting.
The sound and motion tracking was very effective and quick to notify, (even if you were on the app watching). Which was mildly odd considering the quality issues regarding both audio and video quality and clarity.
We did also have some issues with controlling the direction it was pointing. Side to side was smooth and consistent. Down was smooth and consistent. However we could not get it to move up with the app remote or from the monitoring screen. We would have to manually push it up to return it to the original position.
The app contains a significant amount of options which was a very nice feature. It was very easy to navigate and customize.
Overall I was disappointed, perhaps it would have been a better experience with a different wifi setup.
Energizer is a quality brand with quality products, I hope they are able to resolve some of the issues I experienced. I will use their products in the future with that expectation and trust in their brand.

Easy setup with clear video camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation was easy. I found the auto scroll option very handy. The video quality is clear and recognisable. The motion detection feature sends prompt alerts and notifications. The mobile app also easy to install and setup of the camera was done through it.

Couldn’t connect it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn’t connect this camera - the 2.4 GHz requirement is inconvenient and I wasn’t about to mess with my WiFi settings since everything else I own connects to a 5GHz (my house of almost fully “smart” with all lights and switches being smart devices connected to Alexa).

I’m not super tech savvy, but I managed to easily install this along with the app on my cell phone. I love knowing that I can see what’s going on right from my phone.

Easy set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is so easy to set up. The directions are quite easy to follow, step by step and my camera was ready. The camera is lightweight and can be placed on a tabletop or mounted. I have mine set on a bookshelf. I have it set to send me mobile alerts too. It works great! I received this in exchange for my honest opinion.

Nice camera

I love that this camera can monitor my whole living room and spins around when motion is detected. The app is also easy to use and great quality.

Smart, Secure and Stylish Indoor Camera by Energizer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted the Energizer Smart 1080p P/T Came-gen2 in white color from Energizer and Influenster in exchange for my honest review.
I absolutely love this camera! We indeed were in the search of a smart indoor camera to keep an eye on our house while we are away. And I am glad to have found this camera by Energizer. We have always used energizer batteries in our house and I had not the slightest clue that they have cameras as well. The camera comes in compact packaging and is quite securely packaged inside the box. It comes with a USB power adapter, USB cable, camera base, mounting screws, quick start guide and a customer support card. The camera has a bunch amazing features. It has an SD card slot but the card does not come with camera, we had to use our own. With the camera, we got 30 day trial for storing the video recordings on cloud. I followed the instructions and downloaded the Energizer Connect app on my iOS device. It asked me to create an account. The app is very user friendly and simple to use. The setup and installation of the camera was super easy and it took us hardly 15-20 minutes to fully set up the camera. We have not mounted it yet and may not even need to so it was fairly quick to set up. We have added it on the bookshelf for now that gives us a good view of the living room and kitchen area. I love how pretty it looks, and blends well with my bookshelf. This for sure is a stylish looking camera! The camera calibrates itself every time we plugged it to power which is a good feature. It has the pan and tilt feature, and motion tracking that adds on to added security. With all these features, monitoring our home while we are away on vacations is a sigh of relief. We also tried it during the night time and the night vision on this camera is pretty good. I like the instant motion alerts feature that I get instantly when the camera detects movement, as well as the two way audio feature that I and my husband jokingly used when we were on separate floors of our house. The only issue I see is that the camera eats up a lot of the SD card space but it is good to have a free trial of the cloud storage at least for 30 days.
Overall, good camera, definitely a steal for the price. I 100% recommend trying it out. I am excited to make good use of it while we are away on a vacation.
