Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smart video doorbell from energizer works great. The video and sound are clear and I like that I can check the camera from anywhere. However it was not that easy to install and get set up. It did not come with the chime part, once I got that part it made the setup easier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Functions as expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a competitor’s doorbell with subscription on our main entry point and we chose this product and cost-effective alternative for the rear entry.
In order for us to get this doorbell to work, we purchased a USB-A to Micro B 15-foot Cable to provide power to where we installed the doorbell. We did not have an existing doorbell on our rear entry door. My husband is handy so once we had the cable, he was able to install the doorbell fairly fast and I set up the app in no time. Paring to the house Wi-Fi was fairly easy as well. For the price, I think it’s a pretty good option and would choose this brand/model again.

Good video quality easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was quite excited to try out this smart video doorbell by Energizer. The installation was straight forward and they provided all the necessary tools to get the job done. I was having issue while connecting the doorbell to the chime in my house, I found out later that it was the wiring issue in my house and it just won't connect properly. The video quality was good and it gave an alert when there was any motion at my front door. However, there were times that it did not pick up any motion and failed to record videos. I think there are still rooms for improvement with their app and perhaps make it compatible with other smart home devices like Amazon Alexa or Google Hub.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This particular one needs a wired connection, I will say that it took me a little bit to get it set up, however, the instructions were pretty clear on how to do that. I love all of the features that this door bell has. You can view live and get motion alerts and you can use your wifi which is nice that I don't need a hub. You can record video and audio, but you will need to purchase your own micro sd card. All in all, this video doorbell does exactly what it was made to do!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really hoping this Energizer Connect Smart Video Doorbell would work for us because we have been having some issues with sketchy neighbors and others. I could not install because I dont have an existing doorbell in my rental house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome video doorbell. It is so easy to install and the picture quality is A plus. The settings can be changed to low to high for motion sensors. I love that you can watch your house from anywhere and speak to a visitor when your away or when you just dont want to be bothered. If you want to go back through the day and watch your camera then you will need an micro SD card but their fairly cheap and well worth it to run with the doorbell camera. The app to watch your doorbell video is easy to access and pretty self explanatory.

Doorbell works well but app is lacking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Energizer connect Smart Video doorbell Was something we chose for our doorbell to replace our camera. It functions well from a physical door bell And the sound from the inside is heard very well throughout our 3000 sq ft home. The sensor for the camera picks up movement very well, especially when placed on medium sensitivity. It also takes the photo at that snapshot and stores it in the phone. It picks up motion of our car coming out of the garage which is about 6 feet away and also the delivery men which my camera would not sense. The video and images on camera are clear. The app has great option to record video on your phone, speak through it, and take photos. However, The main issue for three stars is that the connection to app can be finicky and not connect to the camera or is slow to load up. It can take up to five minutes to connect or not connect At all. Sometimes it’s quick but other times nothing loads. If you try to speak from the app it’s runs slow or does not connect. Most functions from an interactive approach lack because of the bad connection. The doorbell itself functions well in ringing and taking pictures but the software needs to work better to make the doorbell complete. Overall, the Energizer Smart Video doorbell needs some improvements for it to be fully functional and useful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes, my husband and I have every intention of installing this video doorbell outdoors. But, for now, we are enjoying every minute of spying on our pets in different rooms of our home. The connectivity was super simple: 1.) Download the Energizer connect app, and then 2.) Hunt down a microUSB cord to power the device for connection to your phone and ultimately WiFi. Done! The video quality is great, and you can choose to listen in, speak out, photo, or video record. And then there are additional settings for motion detection. Great value. Win win win.
