Energizer Connect Smart Video Doorbell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great addition to my smart home. The Energizer smart video doorbell is just the addition that I needed to help me make my house more secure. It's a nice little device. You do need a specialized Energizer app from the app store to get this installed and set-up. I appreciate the fact that it's not one of the leaders in smart video doorbells but hopefully with time Energizer catches up to the competition.

Amazing for the Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the last few years, I have had a variety of video doorbells. They all have their plus and minus'. The more expensive ones have better cameras but they come at a cost. If you want the features, you pay monthly. But if you want a solid choice at a great price, this is your item.
I didn't even know energizer had a video doorbell but when I saw it had some of the main features I was looking for (non-stop recording, memory card storage, and no monthly fee) I was instantly hooked. Install was very straight forward other then the fact that I did not need the transformer on the doorbell (the directions recommend you try with first but I would suggest otherwise).
My only negatives would be that the angle of the camera is not very wide (even with the wedge, you can't see to far over), and the app. While there are a ton of great features, the app is where it all lacks. My biggest grip is with notification playbacks. The motion detection is fantastic on this which means it grabs movement very early but if you want to go back and watch the movement, you have to go through many hoops to get to that part of the playback.
Overall, I am extremely happy with the product and would high reccomend it.

Perfect for first timers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The app was easy to download and get started. I'm not a big for of the fact that it's wired I was hoping it was battery operated. The camera quality was really good I feel so much safer knowing I can watch Whos coming Up to my doorstep. The setup was pretty easy to thank goodness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doorbell is amazing! It is very easy to install and setup. If you need help setting up go to the Utube channel for additional support, Make sure you are replacing an existing doorbell and that you can connect to wifi.

The guide in the app is the same as the paper book they supply, it explained everything clearly.I have it in now for about a week and couldn't be happier. Installation was simple, packaging and instructions were well thought out and written, anyone with basic tool skills can install this in less then 20 minutes .i definitely recommend this product

Good for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be completely honest, I was shocked to see that Energizer had a video doorbell on the market. However, it’s a pretty good video doorbell. It has a good picture at night. Works with Alexa, so that’s a plus. Some downfalls are the fact that you have to purchase an SD card to save the videos it takes. Again, for the price it’s pretty good overall quality.
